Rev.Dr Peter Muteba B.Kunsaka, DRC

Rev. Dr. Peter Muteba Kunsaka is the founder and visionary of the Breakthrough Ministry Conference (BMC), also the Senior Pastor of Yahweh Shammah Assembly, in Johannesburg, in South Africa. Pastor Peter is a well-respected servant of God not only in Africa but around the world.

He preaches the word of God with simplicity and conviction. He has implanted churches in his beloved country; the Democratic Republic of the Congo, DRC, as well as in his adoptive country the Republic of South Africa. He strongly believes that the Word of God is able to transform Africa.

Rev. Dr. Peter is a long and committed partner of Christians for Peace in Africa. He was awarded by his Award of Peace in 2007 for his commitment to the Teaching the Word of God with Authority and for being an Outstanding Partner.

Mrs. Jacqueline U. Nzisabira, BURUNDI


Mrs. Jacqueline Nzisabira has 18 years experience in the field of Democratic Government, Development and Humanitarian Aid, with the last 11 years spent in action research, policy advisory, programme development and training roles.

In the context of a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), she conceptualized and led a cluster on Development and Democracy, tasked with understanding the intertwined concepts as well as their implication for democratic governance outcomes. This is participating in building African democratic societies based on the sure values of participation, accountability, and delivery.

In the same context of an NGO, she conceptualized and led 2 years research project on the concept of exclusion as relates to Human Right aspects of the HIV and AIDS pandemic in African communities. As Veteran of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), as her friend Dr. Scholastica Sylvan Kimaryo, she initiated many different programs, as the Poverty Reduction Strategies, National Development Plans, as well as different capacity building activities…She trained and assisted relevant country offices in the drafting or revising of their HIV and AIDS national strategic plans, and/or any proposal development processes.

She was very experienced in identifying and facilitating sub-regional partnership with like-minded organizations and interacted with donors and keeping abreast of developments in the donor milieu. Mrs. Jacqueline has a strong interest in knowledge-generating initiatives.

Over and above her highlighted professional competencies, Mrs. Nzisabira sits on the board of AfDB’s AfCop (African Community of Practice) for MfDR (Managing for Development Results). She sits on the board of the global Burundian Diaspora. She is engaged in Business Development and strategic solutions with Sezerano. She received her Postgraduate Diploma in Management of HIV and AIDS from the University of Stellenbosch and she finished her MPhil at the same university.

Dr. Zonke Majodina, RSA


Organization: Human Rights International Committee, Geneva, Switzerland,


Dr. Zonke Majodina joined the South African Human Rights Commission in 1989. She obtained her BSC degree in Psychology from the Forthare University, in South Africa and an MPhil degree from the University of London.

She spent 18 years in Ghana as a Clinical Psychologist at the University of Ghana Medical School and was later a visiting Fellow at the Refugee Studies Programme, Oxford University. She returned to South Africa in 1992 and completed her Doctorate with the University of Cape Town in 1999.

She is a member of many professional associations, mainly concerning applied psychology, Forced Migration, and Human Rights. She has served many years as the Deputy Chairperson of the South African Human Rights Commission. Among many of her works, Dr Majodina has published, presented many papers on: Human Rights, the effects and problems of war, violence, exile, refugees and repatriation.

She also serves as an expert member at the United Nations Human Rights Committee, a treaty body that monitors state’s compliance with the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. Her special focus in the Commission was the rights of refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants.

Dr. Zonke Majodina was selected by Christians for Peace in Africa and received respectively the Award of Peace in 2007 and her Dr. Michael Cassidy Peace Award in 2009 for her outstanding commitment in promoting the Human Rights in South Africa and in Africa as a whole.

She has been very instrumental for the success of our 2009 Johannesburg International Conference on Peace in Africa, in providing the venue and logistics.

Dr. Albertinah Luthuli, RSA


Organization: The Luthuli Museum, RSA,

Former Member of the South African parliament, Dr. Albertinah Luthuli, elder daughter of Chief Albert Luthuli, is a long-term member of the African National Congress(ANC).

She has occupied different portfolios in the KwaZulu Natal provincial government(Culture and Arts, Economic Affairs and Tourism…)and was the whip of the Foreign Affairs in the South African parliament. Dr. Albertina Luthuli lived in exile in Lesotho, United Kingdom, and Zimbabwe from 1971 to 1991.

She is more committed to promoting the Legacy of Chief Albert Luthuli through the Chief Albert Luthuli Foundation and the Luthuli Museum. She holds an MBChB (UN) and she studied Family Planning Course in the United Kingdom.

Dr. Albertinah has been selected among the Guest Speakers during our 2009 and 2011 International Conference on Peace in Africa in Johannesburg and has been honored with the Dr. Michael Cassidy Peace Award in 2009 as African Peacemaker.

Prophet James Repsold, RSA


Organization: Destiny Church Pretoria, RSA

Prophet James Repsold is the founder and Senior Pastor of Destiny Church Pretoria. He holds a Doctorate Degree of Ministry from Destiny College, Florida (USA) and has authored several books. He is called by God as a prophet to the nations.

James is an anointed prophet of God whose powerful and uncompromising ministry will encourage every believer to draw near to God. James is bringing a message from the heart of God, for a special impartation to accelerate your purpose and destiny.

Prophet James was selected as African Peacemaker and received his Award of Peace in 2007 and his Dr. Michael Cassidy Peace Award in 2009, for the outstanding role he played during the conception and inception of the founding of Christians for Peace in Africa through prophecies.

Prophet James and Pastor Elsie Repsold, his wife, has always been very supportive to Christians for Peace in Africa.

Dr. Scholastica Sylvan Kimaryo, TANZANIA

Deputy Chairperson of the Board of Trustees

Organization: Maadili Consulting and Life Coaching, Tanzania

A veteran of the United Nations, Dr. Scholastica Sylavan Kimaryo has worked in different Agencies of the United Nations especially UNICEF, PNUD in different African countries as in Tanzania her country of origin, Lesotho, Liberia, Sierra Leone, in South Africa where she met many times the late President Nelson Mandela.

She was respectively UNICEF National Programme Officer in Tanzania(1981-1984), UNICEF Resident Programme Officer in Botswana(1984-1986), UNICEF Assistant Representative for Botswana(1986-1990), UNICEF Senior Programme Officer for South Africa(1991-1992) and then UNICEF First Representative to South Africa(1992-1998). She became UNICEF representative to Liberia(1998-2001), UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative to Lesotho(2001-2004), UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Representative to South Africa(2005-2007), Deputy Assistant UNDP Administrator & UNDP Deputy Regional Director for East & Southern Africa (2008-2009).

She is presently the Founder & CEO of Kilimanjaro Conscious Leadership Institute. Before she worked to United Nations, she was a Journalist and columnist, writer and editor in Mananchi Publishing Company and Tanganyika Standard Newspaper in Tanzania. Dr. Scholastica holds many degrees from different Universities and received many professional Awards and Prizes.

She received successively from Christians for Peace in Africa her Award for Peace in 2007 and the Dr. Michael Cassidy Peace Award in 2009, for her Outstanding Commitment to Peace and Development in Africa. She has always been, since 2005, available to promote Christians for Peace in Africa in different international organizations and to different funding organizations.

Among many memberships of governing boards, she is the Board Member of the Africa Institute of Security Studies(ISS), Deputy Chairperson of Gender Links, Convener of the International Advisory Reference Group on the Promoting Gender Justice and Empowerment, Council Member of the South African Women in Dialogue(SAWID).

She is also a member of Society for International Development(SID), Tanzania Home Economics Association, Association for Alumni from London School of Economics and Politics Science, Tanzania Journalists Association(TAJA).

She is currently the Deputy Chairperson of the Board of Trustees, at the same time the Deputy Chairperson of Christians for Peace in Africa. She holds respectively a BSc in Home Economics and Education from Victoria Manchester University in collaboration with the University of East Africa, Nairobi, Kenya, a Post Graduate Diploma in Development Journalism at Tanganyika Standard Newspapers Ltd, in Dar-es-Salaam, in Tanzania, M.Sc in Social Policy & Development, Planning & Participation in Developing Countries, at the London School of Economics and Political Science(LSE), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioners Course for Life Coaches, in Johannesburg, Chopra Centre Certified Instructor in Healthy Lifestyles, in California, USA.

She attended much other training in Leadership. A very committed and unashamedly Christian, Dr. Scholastica is a mother to Joaquim and Catherine Kimaryo and grandmother.S he lives in Pretoria, in South Africa, after her retirement.

Pastor Radek Chlup, RSA

Chairperson of the Board of Trustees

Organisation: Christian Family Church International, Johannesburg, RSA

Pastor Radek has been involved in the ministry at Christian Family Church international, Johannesburg since 1982 and has been on staff since January 1996, successfully pasturing 2 large geographical areas over the next 10 years. Currently, Pastor Radek and his wife Pastor Sonia manage and oversee all the youth and children’s ministry related departments at Christian Family Church international, Johannesburg.

Pastor Radek loves the word of God and endeavors to teach and minister Gods word in a pertinent and simple to understand manner. The practical application of God’s word that is his message! Pastor Radek was selected by Christians for Peace in Africa in 2007 and received the Award of Peace as African Peacemaker for his outstanding commitment to the mentorship of our organization, especially of Rev Thomas-Rene Kitutu Z’Ikossi.

Pastor Radek and his wife Pastor Sonia Chlup have been a real gift from God in our ministry, since its inception in 2001. They have 3 beautiful daughters Rachel, Claudia, and Abigail.
